Traffic Disruption due to Highways Improvements
We have received information from Telford & Wrekin
Council regarding road improvements in the area.
These will affect the access
route to Malinslee from the Dawley Green Roundabout,
to the mini island at the
front of the school. There will be temporary traffic lights in place between
9/11/18 - 18/11/18, followed by a full road closure between 19/11/18 to
27/11/18.
Access for school will be from the Asda Roundabout.
They are expecting travel delays whilst this work is going
on and have requested that people
allow extra time for their journey.

Lucy's office gets taken over as part of Children’s Takeover day... Again!
Friday, 11 November, 2016
Telford MP, Lucy Allan has once again supported Children’s Takeover Day by welcoming two pupils from Old Park Primary School in Malinslee.
Children’s Takeover day is an initiative ran by the Children’s Commissioner which encourages organisations to throw open their doors and welcome
children in to see firsthand how workplaces function and to have their voices heard.
Having supported the Takeover Challenge last year, Lucy was happy to again accept Old Park Primary’s request for pupils to takeover her office for the day.
In a fully packed day pupils KC and Saira were able to join Lucy and her staff in a number of different events including attending the Armistice Day
service at the Town Park, meeting Chief Constable Anthony Bangham and meeting journalists from BBC Radio Shropshire.
Speaking at the end of the Takeover, Lucy Allan MP said: “It’s been great having KC and Saira join us for the day and I hope they take lots away from it.
Although unable to vote for a number of years yet, I’m just as much their MP as I am adults and I’m pleased I was able to hear their views on the
various events from the day.
The Takeover Challenge is an excellent initiative and I would encourage as many workplaces as possible to take part in it. KC and Saira were
engaging and thoughtful, and an absolute credit to their school.”

Blasting
into space on a rocket made in Russia
Blasting
into space, our British space explorer
Satellites,
meteorites, angry aliens who want a fight
Blasting
into space, to live among the stars.
Floating
without gravity
Looking
down on earth, what can we see?
All
at once a presence I feel
An
alien on board, yes I see they are real!
Now
we're up in space, zooming around in orbit
Now
we're up in space, flying around the planets
Satellites,
meteorites, friendly aliens - what a sight!
Now
we're up in space, we live among the stars!
